Among the youngest artistic directors active in Italy, in 2011 he founds “Concetto Armonico” the cultural association that organizes the festival “Vicenza in Lirica” at the Teatro Olimpico in Vicenza.
Since 2017 he has been president of the Historical Archives Tullio Serafin, thanks to the family of the illustrious Maestro. The Archive has become of historical interest for the Archival and Bibliographic Superintendency of Veneto. He received the Medal of the President of the Republic in 2018 and is the organizer of the Tullio Serafin Opera Competition.
Andrea Castello curated eight editions of the Christmas concert and solidarity at the Vatican City; Assisi in Opera; concerts in Wien, working in synergy with Embassies and Institutes of Culture.
He is the creator of the “Cavarzere Opera Festival” and the Tullio Serafin Opera Competition.
As artistic director of Vicenza in Lirica and president of Concetto Armonico he has received awards from famous Italian opera singers like Daniela Dessì, Sara Mingardo and Barbara Frittoli, Leo Nucci, Ferruccio Furlanetto, Alberto Mastromarino, Amarilli Nizza, Ambrogio Maestri, Laura Polverelli.
