The total prize fund for the 17th Giulio Neri International Opera Singing Competition is € 5.100,00 as specified below:
- First prize – € 2.000 and certificate
- Second prize – € 1.000 and certificate
- Third prize – € 600 and certificate
Special Prizes
- “Giulio Neri” prize – € 500 and certificate – offered by Comune di Torrita di Siena to the best Bass in memory of G. Neri
- Audience prize – € 400 and certificate
- “Young talents” prize – € 300 and certificate – offered by artistic direction to the young singers born since January 1st 2000
- “Claudio Desderi” special prize – € 300 and certificate – offered by artistic direction
The Jury, at its sole discretion, may decide not to award one or more prizes, as well as to withhold any special prizes.
As part of the Competition, the organization reserves the right to add any additional awards that will be assigned by the Jury.
Contestants may be selected and recommended by the jury for auditions and for productions by theaters, opera houses, and Fondazione Cantiere Internazionale d’Arte.
